Fees:
Currently accept Optum (United) and Aetna insurance plans. Clients are responsible for knowing about their coverage, financial obligations and responsibilities for missed appointments before beginning services with Querida Counseling, LLC.
My fees for therapy are:
Individual Therapy Session 60 minutes: $135
Individual Therapy Session 90 minutes: $180
I offer one free, initial 15-minute consultation via phone or Telehealth prior to starting therapy.
Please inquire about case management fees.

I accept the following forms of payment:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club, personal checks and cash. You are responsible for payment at the time of service.

Policy for non-payment
Please be advised that clinicians are only on site for their scheduled appointments, and it is difficult to fill an available slot with less than a 24-hour notice for cancellation. Therefore, once an appointment has been scheduled, you are expected to pay for the session unless you have given your assigned therapist a 24-hour advance notice of cancellation either by phone, text, or email. Querida Counseling Services, LLC will keep your credit card information securely on file and will automatically bill your card the full price of your session for Self-Pay. There are occasions where emergency events outside of your control do occur; if your clinician determines this to be the case, you will not be required to pay for the session. If there is an outstanding balance on your account, Querida Counseling Services, LLC., reserves the right to cancel upcoming appointments until payment has been received. We will make every attempt to develop a payment plan with any client struggling to pay a past due balance prior to sending a balance to collections.

Insurance
If clinicians are not a participating provider for the client's insurance plan, Querida will supply the client with a receipt of payment for services, which can be submitted to the client's insurance company for reimbursement. You may use these statements to initiate the reimbursement process privately through your insurance company if you choose. Please note that I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will provide you reimbursement and not all insurance companies reimburse for out-of network providers. Please note that insurance reimbursement will require you receiving a diagnosis.
